Chola The Label by Sohaya Misra was born in 2015 from an accidental experiment — a fabric shop visit that ended with a truck full of textiles and a label that has grown entirely on its own terms ever since.
Founded by Mumbai-based stylist-turned-designer Sohaya Misra, Chola is built on a philosophy of everyday luxury and democratic dressing. The clothes are ageless, genderless and deliberately free-sized — featuring ingenious ties, buttons and adjustable details that allow each garment to be worn multiple ways by multiple body types.
Chola dresses, tops, trousers, shirts, skirts and separates are made from organic cotton, kala cotton, linen and recycled deadstock — fabrics chosen for how they feel, not how they photograph. The silhouettes are fluid and structured in equal measure. The design language is minimal, with an edge.
