Founded in 2017 by sisters Shreya and Priyal Mewara, Ode to Odd is an Indian designer label built around a single, deeply held conviction: that a garment should be worth the story it carries. Their signature is hand embroidery, specifically the cross-stitch "convent work" tradition rooted in Ranchi. Applied to silhouettes that move between festive and everyday with ease: kurta sets, dresses, co-ord sets, kaftans, jumpsuits and dupattas.
Every piece leaves the Ode to Odd atelier in organic cotton, silk or mulmul, made with what the founders describe as "a sense of deep meditation." Collections carry names, like Once Upon a Time, Into The Woods, The Secret Garden, because the craft is inseparable from the story.
At Canvas & Weaves Singapore, Ode to Odd sits alongside labels that share the same philosophy: slow, deliberate, and made to outlast the season that named them.
