About the handwoven cotton fabric

Cotton is a natural fibre; It is a light fabric that gives your skin friendly and breathable, giving highest comfort.

Wash and care for handwoven cotton

Our handwoven cotton dress can be washed by hand or put into a machine as well. We recommend washing the fabric at 30° Celcius, to keep the shape and size intact, prevent possible shrinkage and keep them looking their best.
A mesh bag can be used for delicate items, which protects the fabric from snagging or twisting in harsh machine cycles.
Do not wash our handwoven cotton masks and scrunchies in the washing machine, we recommend hand-wash only.
In the misfortune of a stain, use a small amount of stain remover to dab and soak the area before wash. We recommend the patch test on an inside seam to confirm that it doesn't affect the colour of the piece.
Darker coloured and natural dyed pieces should also be hand washed separately in cold water.
To dry the clothes, they can be hung under the shade while flipped inside out. However, we do not recommend wringing your clothes before drying them as it causes severe damage to the pieces.
Do not harshly scrub while hand washing.
Do not use bleach.
We do not recommend using dryers for cotton clothes as the heat from the tumble causes pieces to lose their size and shape, leading to shrinkage. Instead, leave them out to dry. This is also more eco-friendly.

About naturally dyed fabric

Indigo, along with other natural dyes, are used in dresses that are entirely made using environmentally friendly resources and materials. They need to be treated with delicacy and care. As these dyes are all-natural, derived from pure sources, they do no damage to the environment. Indigo has healing properties to the skin and aid in keeping the body cool during summers, which is apt for the Indian climate as well.

Wash and care for naturally dyed clothes

Wash dyed garments separately, using cold water and preferably a gentle pH-neutral soap.
Clothes can be hung to dry, instead of using a machine dryer which ultimately uses more energy and electricity.
Do not dry these garments in direct sunlight as this often results in excessive colour fading.
Fabric colour will tend to spread and bleed into the water. A small noticeable fade of colour may occur over time, which is natural and adds to the charm of the clothes.
Indigo or other naturally dyed pieces of clothes should be preserved in the Crow muslin bag provided. The muslin protects your garments from sunlight and fading.

About hand woven merino wool fabric

Wool is naturally derived from the fleece of a sheep’s thick winter coat, which is shorn in warmer months. The thick, soft yarn creates a natural protective barricade against the wind, which keeps you warm and insulated and is also water resistance. At the same time, the tiny coils created by the fibres include minuscule pockets of air, which make this fabric breathable, making sure the comfort.

Wash and care for Hand-woven Merino wool

Quality of wool is the natural protective coating; It is resistant to being a home for dirt and dust. Thus, every time you wear wool, it is not necessary to wash it. Instead, it can be hung with the aim of allowing the fabric some ventilation.
When washing wool, it is advised to use specialist wool detergent at the optimum temperature of 30°C in the machine, with a low-spin setting.
Gently squeeze out any excess water without wringing the fabric.
Use a flat drying rack and place a towel underneath it to absorb any water drips. This is recommended overhanging up the wool to dry as it stretches the piece, causing it to lose its shape.
Due to the nature of the product, pilling occurs naturally as a result of friction. This can easily be solved by using a pilling comb or fabric shaver.
